Lars Mikkelsen-3-1024x657Lars Dittmann Mikkelsen, born 6 May 1964, is a Danish actor. He is an actor from Denmark who has been in the role of Troels Hartmann, Copenhagen's mayoral candidate, in The Killing. [1] Charles Augustus Magnussen was the third season of Sherlock. Viktor Petrov, the Russian president, was portrayed in the American House of Cards. Star Wars Rebels featured Grand Admiral Thrawn as Thrawn. He received the Reumert Prize of Honour in 2011, at the age of 27. In 1995, he received admission to the National Theatre School of Denmark. He was also featured in The Killing's drama. After that, he was a part of Borgen III and Those Who Kill two internationally popular Danish dramas. He played the role of President of Russia in an episode of the BBC drama Sherlock. In 2018, he won an International Emmy Award for his part in the lead character on the Danish television drama Herrensveje. It was broadcast in the UK as Ride Upon the Storm in the year 2019.
