Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson, in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson, (born on April 24, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas, U.S.), American performer, songwriter and TV personality who emerged as a pop star her win in the TV talent show American Idol in 2002. Clarkson was raised in Burleson (Texas) located in an area near Fort Worth. Her vocal talents were recognized when she was just seven years old from the head of the choir department at her school. After graduating high school, Clarkson was sent into Los Angeles to try to make it in the entertainment industry. After returning home to Texas in 2002, she was a contestant for the The Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol. This singing competition let viewers choose their top performer. The viewers were in love with Clarkson's captivating vocals, charisma as well as her humour. Clarkson won $1 million, and also a contract recording deal in partnership with RCA to be her reward.
