Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also produced films, including Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. While growing up living in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of dreams. She was raised by her mother, who was a fan of films. Paula was active in her school's co-curricular activities and particularly awed by the dramatic arts. She loved to play act alongside her peers and was a participant in her school's stage productions. She was a part of numerous productions at her high school Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as a profession. In a summer program offered by the University of Southern California, she was awe-inspiring there. She won the PBS three-month project to film documentaries. The first assignment was to be production assistant for television documentaries after successfully completing her project. Following the completion of her project then she began putting together documentary films. While she was awed by what she did, she yearned for being an actor. Her acting career began with minor roles with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she has played in numerous popular films as well as TV series.
