Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the America's sweetheart when she was crowned American Idol in the first season. The win brought Clarkson to notoriety and led to the contract of RCA Records 19 Recordings, and 'S Records. From her first appearance her album, she's released several albums. Of those albums three reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The others were close to the top spot. She was among American Idol's most successful performers. As she achieved success she experimented with different themes and music styles often singing with her partner in line of her own feelings. Her individuality and her singing talent earned her praise from critics along with a host of prestigious prizes. The most notable accomplishment is that she won 3 Grammy awards. In addition to her work as a musician, she's appeared on television and film. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby is a children's story written by her. She was also active in charity work as well as different organizations.
