Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American who was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor was a former Banker. Jennifer Marina Joy worked as a Psychotherapist. Her father is Argentine with Scottish-English descent. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English roots. Taylor-Joy's siblings are four of her father's previous marriage. The family was originally of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria as Taylor-Joy reached the age of six. According to Taylor-Joy, this move was traumatic and she refused to master English with the intention of returning to Argentina. Her school had to change between Northlands in order to attend Hill House. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. Then she dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order to pursue an acting profession. Taylor-Joy always wished to become an actor. When she was 16, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the chance to model.
