Fawn Mckay
Fawn Brodie McKay, who was born on September 15th, 1915, was born in Ogden Utah. Fawn MCKAY, who was educated in the Mormon Church's First Family, utilized her writing talent as well as expertise in research to write the captivating psycho-historical biographical account of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title No Man has My History, she used both. It's a name derived from a funeral speech delivered by Joseph Smith. In the speech, he said: You didn't know me, and you didn't know my heart. My history is unknown to anybody. Nobody knows my story. I wrote the 29-year old Fawn: Since this moment of honesty, about three dozen writers have joined in the fight. Many have abused him some have glorified him. A couple have even tried their hand at diagnosing him clinically. It's not because the records aren't complete, it is rather that they're wildly contradictory. This is the task--to separate the original account from third-hand plagiarization and to blend Mormon claims with the non-Mormons' in the context of a credible historical narrative. This is an exciting learning experience. Fawn brodie was professionally committed to the task. The fruits of her research and writing made her immortalized with worldwide fame. Thaddeus Stevens. The Devil drives (1959). Thomas Jefferson. A personal history of Richard Nixon (1974), after the death of Richard Nixon.
